OUTDOOR GYMOur newly renovated Outdoor Gym is equipped with all the kit you need for an effective workout and is great to use all year round as the entire area is covered throughout.
The Outdoor Gym has various exercise areas, some of which are bookable to ensure safe social distancing. Why not take your Personal Training session outside?

OUTDOOR WEIGHTS AREA
Our outdoor weights area is bookable in 30 minute slots for strength and conditioning training. This area is equipped with freeweights, benches, kettlebells, rings, bands and TRX options to use. Each bench is spaced by 2 metres and cleaning products are available to wipe before and after use of equipment.

OUTDOOR GYM TRACK
The main length of the outdoor gym isn't bookable but we do ask to keep aware of other members to allow safe social distancing. This section includes barbell weights, dumbbells, skipping ropes, battleropes, a 60kg tyre, and blocks for jumping/stepping up on. If space allows, you can practice your sprints up and down this 20metre track!
OUTDOOR CYCLE TENT
Our newly built Outdoor Cycle Tent will be used as an extended Outdoor Gym area when classes such as BodyPump or Group Cycle aren't on. Please check our timetable in advance to avoid disappointment. This area will will be available for functional training and free weights. This area is not bookable but please be aware of others and keep a safe distance while training.
OUTDOOR CARDIO PODS
These babies were born in Tier 4 when guidelines allowed outdoor exercise only. Originally used as outdoor seating for The Airedale Cafe and Bar, each pod is separated by a perspex wall, covered and even heated! You can book a treadmill, cross trainer, watt bike, vario or recline bike in 30 minute slots. A rower can be requested but is not bookable.
This area is bookable under 'PODS' between 29th March - 11th April 2021.
COVID SECURE PROTOCOLS
COVID secure protocols remain in place. It is a safe place to exercise and rebuild your strength and fitness all year round. These include:
• Bookable areas to manage demand and safe social distancing
• Cleaning products and foot-pedal hand sanitiser available to use
• Regular cleaning of the area from our in-house housekeeping staff
• All staff will be in PPE
RULES OF USE
• Keep the noise down. No music and no shouting.
• Keep the door to the HIIT studio closed at all times.
• Do not smash down equipment.
• Return any kit used to its home area.
• Do not climb on top of the rig.
• Be aware of anyone doing a circuit; they can set up those stations and reserve them for up to 10 minutes. First come, first serve.
