Cat's Bootcamp is BACK!

Cat's Bootcamp t1

I am running two boot camps this summer commencing Thursday 28th May 2015

Thursdays at 9.30am – 10.30am – Beginner / Intermediate

Thursdays at 7pm – 8pm – Intermediate / Advance

Beginner Class

Circuit based exercises to work on improving fitness levels from a basic level. These are group sessions which focus on military-style exercises and functional movements such as push-ups, squats, short sprints & sit-ups. (40 second drills)

Intermediate / advance

These group sessions provide a high intensity workout with many running drills of different lengths, plyometric movements such as jumping squats and core & body weight circuit exercises with many press ups thrown in. (1 – 2 minute drills) – there will be a limited rest time in between each exercise in order to get the heart rate up and start burning calories fast!

Word of Caution:

Always listen to your body first and foremost. If you've got nothing left in the tank or feel an injury coming on, remember that no amount of encouragement will get you through that last rep safely. Always train smart.

Very little equipment is required other than body weight (either your own or that of a partner) to perform a wide range of individual, partner and team speed, strength, agility and stamina exercises.

The types of exercises we will have you doing are bodyweight exercises like push ups, squats, star jumps and burpees. These will be interspersed with running and competitive games.

We want everyone taking part to be involved and work at their own ability level.

Final details

These will take place at Homefield Health – a 5 minute walk from the Hogarth Health Club. We will meet at reception 10 minutes before boot camp starts and set off together.
