THE HOGARTH REOPENING ROADMAP - March and April 2021

On February 22nd, the Prime Minister announced a new "Road Map" out of lockdown. So what does this mean for The Hogarth?

It is certainly positive news that the Government decided to prioritise the nation's fitness and wellbeing by bringing forward access to Club’s like the Hogarth early in their 4 step approach and we will be excited to welcome you back to The Club. As we have throughout the past 12 months, we will continue to go the extra mile to keep everybody safe in whatever we do.

THE HOGARTH PHASED REOPENING ROAD MAP:

29th March

the Hogarth march reopening outdoor facilities

• Outdoor gym
• Tennis - singles, doubles, 1:1 coaching, social play
• Outdoor group exercise classes (+ live streamed!)
• Airedale takeaway (drinks and snacks)

Having opened up the new outdoor gym areas back in December, we understand that we will be able to re-open our outdoor cardio pods and outdoor gym areas, along with tennis. Outdoor exercise classes are also good to go, so we are working on a new timetable for this to complement our existing online Zoom Timetable. Tennis will recommence as per the LTA’s latest guidelines. Please note that all facilities will be bookable online 8 days before they reopen.

• Indoor group exercise classes
• The Airedale Bar and Cafe indoors (rule of 6/ 2 households apply)

Indoor group exercise classes will be allowed to resume. Hurrah!!!!

Restrictions on meetings outdoors will be lifted. The Airedale can open indoors as well as outdoors; parties can be made up of a maximum of six people or two households of any size; groups seated outside must be smaller than 30 people.

21st June

The Government will consider whether all remaining legal limits on social contact can be lifted.

In certain areas where governing bodies are still awaiting approval and research is deemed inconclusive by the Hogarth management, a more  precautionary approach to the government may be taken. We will, for example, bring news on the return of squash, sauna and steam rooms in the coming weeks.

The Prime Minister also stressed that timelines associated with each step are still indicative, and the nation's ability to move on to any future stage in the exit plan will therefore be contingent on meeting their stringent tests.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP

As we did back in December 2020, our default position will be to put all members on a free freeze until the main club reopens, so there is no need to do anything at this point.

However, we do understand how much many of you are missing the Club, so will provide the option to enjoy our outdoor facilities at 50% of your usual membership rate from 29th March - subject to availability. Your attendance to the Club or making a booking will trigger the fee.

For those that aren't able to attend, we still have our online classes option which, if taken up alone, remain chargeable at just £25 per month. By attending a class, the £25 fee will be automatically triggered.
