Already Love Mat Pilates? Here's Why You'll Fall in Love with Reformer
What Makes Reformer Different?
Unlike mat Pilates, where your own bodyweight is the main tool, Reformer Pilates is performed on a specialised machine with adjustable springs and pulleys that add resistance. This doesn’t just change how exercises feel - it transforms how they work. The machine supports your body into better alignment, challenges your muscles in new ways, and allows for a greater range of movement. This gives you a workout that feels both supported and invigorating, helping you unlock strength and control you didn’t know you had.
The Benefits of Reformer
Reformer Pilates is rooted in controlled, resistance-based movement that’s designed to maximise results while protecting your body.
With every session, you will:
• Build Strength & Flexibility - compliment your strength and improve mobility for better posture and movement.
• Develop Core Stability - Strengthen your core, protect your back, improve balance, and enhance postural alignment.
• Train Smarter, Not Harder - Enjoy a low-impact workout that’s joint-friendly yet delivers lasting full-body results.
• Receive Expert Guidance - Our instructors tailor each session to your level, ensuring safe and effective progress.
Who is it for?
Reformer Pilates is truly for everyone.
• If you’re a beginner, it’s a brilliant way to build strength and confidence with the added support of the machine.
• For fitness lovers and athletes, it enhances mobility, activates often-overlooked muscles, and complements other training by helping to prevent injuries and improve recovery.
• Those dealing with back pain or postural issues will find that the Reformer encourages safe core strengthening and spinal alignment.
• Pre and postnatal clients can benefit from gentle, yet effective exercises adapted to their needs.
• And for anyone seeking a low-impact workout that’s kind on the joints but still delivers powerful results, the Reformer offers the perfect balance of challenge and care.
