THE RELATIONSHIP
Owner of The Hogarth Group, Dan White has known the Thompson family for over 40 years, when Jordan’s father, Prof. Geoff Thompson MBE was a Hogarth member back in the 80s, and had just become World Heavyweight Karate Champion! They have remained in touch ever since.
JORDAN’S BACKGROUND
A few years ago, Jordan moved down to London from Manchester, he trained and worked as a Personal Trainer here at The Hogarth Club for 2 years until Jordan took on a career in boxing full time.
Jordan’s father, Prof. Geoff Thompson MBE is a former 5 time World Karate Champion while his mother, Janice Thompson is a former World Karate Champion. It’s no surprise that their eldest son was destined for a life in combat sports! Since Jordan was young he has been involved in sport at national level within athletics, swimming and lacrosse. Particularly Tennis where he ranked in the UK top ten as a teenager. Frustrated at the lack of opportunity in this field, he turned his ambitions to combat – first in MMA then boxing.

Jordan’s consistency and hard work got him recognised and lead to joining reigning World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury’s training camp in Vegas. Jordan’s career really gained momentum after this as he joined world leading promoter, Eddie Hearn. After a few more successful fights, Jordan was linked up with the renowned trainer Tony Sims.
JORDAN’S STATS
Undefeated with 15 professional fights and 12 by way of knock out under his belt, Jordan is the current IBF European Champion and rated number 6 in the World.
