Fuelling Your Aspirations: Start With Your Plate
Health as Aspiration
Health and nutrition are not just about creating daily habits - they are powerful acts of aspiration.
And whatever health goals you are aspiring towards, by choosing balanced meals, staying hydrated, and moving your body regularly, you are making a positive and conscious investment in yourself.
Aspiration in health means seeing beyond the quick fixes and aiming for sustainable progress with long-term beneficial results. It’s about setting goals that enhance your physical and mental health; whether that’s improving endurance, building muscle, or simply feeling better and more confident each morning.
By caring for your body with intention, you align your daily actions with your highest potential.
Aligning Diet with Your Aspirations
So, how do our menus help you align diet with your aspirations? To the Bar & Kitchen!
The menu at The Hogarth Bar & Kitchen has something to support everyone’s aspirations, at any time of the day. Amongst the wide variety of meals available, below are some of my favourite examples on our menus, to help nurture your aspirations in the best way!
Menu Highlights (click here to view the full menu)
• Fibre Focused – Mixed Bean Chipotle Chilli – Pulses, Veggies, and Avocado – a perfect fibre combo to support digestive health! You’ll find this dish in the ‘Lunch’ section of the menu.
• Protein Packed – Smoked Mackerel & Eggs on Toast – A great brunch option to support muscular/endurance training, with added omegas from the delicious smoked mackerel to help with cognitive function.
• Smart Swap – Sweet Potato Toast – Swapping bread to sweet potato is our innovative addition to the menu, which is an option lower in calories, and higher in fibre, vitamins and minerals.
• Plant-Based Balance – Salad Selections – With the standard veggie-loaded, vibrant, salad bases, comes the option of adding chicken, tuna, salmon, egg, and lots more, promoting an easy option of plant-based balance, without having a solely vegan meal.
• Light & Bright – Mixed Berry Overnight Oats – Berries are one of the highest sources of antioxidants, which can help to reduce inflammation, enhance cognitive function, and support heart health. This creates a perfect light bite!
• Tasty Treat – Cinnamon French Toast – Health goals are not always about increasing or decreasing consumption of food groups, sometimes it’s about improving one’s relationship with food. A quote I am often giving my new clients is ‘Eating is never something that needs to be earned!’. This dish is both delicious and nutritious.
