Illegal downloading at THHC

It has been brought to our attention by our Internet provider that members are illegally downloading films using the Hogarth Public WiFi.

These infringements have serious ramifications. Firstly, it is an infringement of copyright; secondly, it’s illegal, thirdly; it will result in a court appearance, fourthly, it will result in a fine running into tens of thousands of pounds and lastly, ALL our IT services will be cut off. 

We are able to track all downloads with IP addresses so we thought it best to warn members that we will not hesitate in giving up members identities should this happen again and we will of course terminate memberships.
