Ban temporary closure 02

Temporary Club closure from Thursday 5 November to Wednesday 2 December 2020.

We've been doing everything we can to support you and your fellow members, our staff and our freelance instructors. We've adapted at every turn, met every challenge, and will always strive to come back stronger.

With the Club temporarily closing tonight Wednesday 4 November at 11pm due to the latest national lockdown measures, that mission becomes even more important. Everyone's health and wellbeing has never been so crucial, and the Hogarth community has never needed each other's support more.

We’d like to thank everyone for their supportive messages and ask that you bear with us whilst we reply to individual emails and member queries.

Option 1 - Automatic Free Freeze

In the first instance, your membership will be automatically placed on a free freeze for the duration of any mandatory closures. This will start from Thursday, 5th November and there is no need for you to do anything. For further detials of

Option 2 - Access our most comprehensive online timetable yet for just £25 per month
Miranda and our Studio team have been working round the clock to bring you an almost complete live class timetable through lockdown, with some instructors teaching from the Club and some teaching from home (depending on their individual circumstance).

Rather than reintroduce our donation platform, we will be paying all instructors their full class fees to do their classes at their usual times. Where there are still some gaps, where possible we are looking to add these classes over the next week or two - possibly even adapted versions of classes like aqua aerobics (nothing like this though, we promise).

To help towards the cost of paying these instructors, these classes are chargeable at our usual freeze fee of £25 per month. If you access the online platform between November 5th and December 2nd this will be automatically deducted from any credit you are owed or debited from future collections. Please note, you will need a Zoom account as below.Thank you for supporting the Club and helping us support our instructors.

Direct Debit Memberships
Due to the timing of our Direct Debit Collection and the Government’s announcement on Saturday 31 October of our temporary Club closure, it was too late to be able to change the Direct Debits for your November membership fees. We will of course credit you when we reopen for the time that the Club is closed. If all goes to plan and we reopen on Thursday 3 December 2020, we will reduce your December membership fee payment by the equivalent of 28 days.

Annual Memberships
If you have an annual membership, your membership value will be credited to your next renewal. If you were due to renew before lockdown then we ask you to contact the membership team on 0203 1967708 so that we can keep your membership active and maintain / progress your loyalty discount. If you are due to renew during lockdown your membership will be preserved and your renewal become due on reopening.

Faizel and his team have worked so hard since July to build up our incredible food offering at The Airedale. We’re proud of our menu and thrilled with our pop-up partners - so we're going to try and keep it going as takeaways!

Natalia and her bar team will be here through lockdown to serve takeaway coffees and cold drinks, and The Airedale will continue to offer a hearty and nutritious takeaway menu you can order on the DINES app to collect between 11-3pm. You can still order a pizza on a Tuesday by emailing Natalia, and on Saturday you can order Japanese Izakaya directly from Silla at Sushistore and collect from The Hogarth.

This service will be available subject to demand - as with many things this year, we are trying something we hope will bring some of you a smile. If you'd like to support us, we'd love to see you at The Airedale. If you're taking part in the Hogarth 500 (new virtual event), why not jog to the Airedale, then walk home with a delicious freshly-prepared meal? (...and maybe a smoothie - it's lockdown, treat yourself!).

This is likely to be a challenging month for many, and our amazing Hogarth team are working on ways to keep everyone going. With online classes to keep you moving, the Hogarth 500 to keep you connected, the Airedale for delicious takeaway meals and drinks and Hogarth Helpers ready to support our Hogarth community, we can get through this together.

Stay safe, stay active, and look out for each other.
