The Hogarth Health Club reserves the right to pre-book facilities and restrict bookings made by members.
No Shows
If you book a reformer class and do not attend this is termed a “no-show”a credit will be still be used for the session. This credit will be automatically taken from any credits you have purchased.
If you book a Free taster and you fail to attend, this will count as a “no-show” and counts as your free class. All classes thereafter are paid sessions.
If a member doesn’t attend a class due to poor health, as spaces are limited, we do still have to use a class credit. To avoid this, please do cancel with more than 24 hours notice. Of course, if a member has a serious illness or injury and becomes unable to use their prepaid reformer sessions, they should contact the membership team Vua email at membership@thehogarth.co.uk so we can review any mitigating circumstances and establish whether an extension to the usual expiry date can be applied.
Paid for Classes have an expiry date
Reformer sessions can be purchased in packages, which vary in price and the period for which they are valid. Please visit the reformer pages for class packages and expiry dates. Accordingly classes do expire if unused during the period they were purchased for.
If a member freezes their membership they cannot attend a reformer class. We have extended the expiry dates to accommodate members who freeze to allow them plenty of time and choice of quantity of sessions to be purchased to take up these sessions. It is the member’s responsibility to only purchase credits that are commensurate to the time they expect to make themselves available to attend classes.
Your membership must not lapse to retain credits
Should your membership lapse, all credits will be lost. This is becuase the rate members pay is significantly less than will be available to non-members. For the avoidance of doubt, the credit value cannot be transferred to another member or to a non-member credit value.
Class packages are individual and cannot be shared
When booking a reformer class package it is important to note that the credits purchased are not transferable or shared with another user / member. For the avoidance of doubt bookings are for an individually named member and cannot be apply to a couple membership.
Lateness to classes
Out of courtesy to other class members we ask that all attendees turn up to class on time. Lateness to a class risks disturbing the flow and experience for all attendees so once a class has started, access cannot be granted and a credit will still be taken.
Grip socks must be worn to Reformer Pilates Classes
For health and safety reasons, as well as good class form, Grip socks must be worn by all Reformer class attendees. These can be purchased as the Club Reception or other good retailers. Laundered grip socks are available for Taster sessions only.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
