Carpark System

HOW TO USE

MEMBERS

The system should recognise your Vehicle Registration Number and let you in and out automatically for 3 hours free. If for any reason it doesn’t, please enquire at reception. Please collect your new proximity card at reception which will be topped with £5 on us. If you stay for over 3 hours, you will need your proximity card to pay on exit by tapping the reader, after 3 hours the member hourly rate is £2.40. If this £5 credit runs out, you can top this up at reception.

NON MEMBERS

On arrival, you will need to collect your parking ticket to access the car park. Please keep this with you to pay on your way out by scanning your ticket at the exit barrier and then paying the outstanding amount by card. The hourly non-member rate is £3.

Why does the Hogarth need a new barrier system?

We appear to be the only facility in Chiswick who offer free parking to its customers. Because of this I am sad to say that we are being taken advantage of. Members (and some non-members) are parking here and then going off site. We have many instances of members going to work for the day, going shopping or dining down the High Road, popping in to central London and worse!

This makes it very difficult for those bona fide members who are actually here to exercise to get a car parking space. That, coupled with the increasing number of business’ paving the way for a ‘Cleaner Air’ London by going green and therefore safeguarding this city for future generations has strengthened our resolve to follow suit.

How will it work?

Over the next few weeks, Reception will be providing you with new proximity cards – replacing your current membership cards. This card will be pre-loaded with £5 of credit (like an Oyster card) which will require topping up at the Club Reception if you are using the car park beyond periods provided free of charge.

To save being put in an awkward position, please make sure your have registered your vehicles’ number plate(s) with Reception, as the system includes Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) allowing you to drive up to a barrier which will automatically open. The ANPR system differentiates between members and non-members on entry and exit as well as recording your time in the car park.

In addition to being able to pay on exit (when applicable), we’ll also have a payment station at reception. For full details including terms and conditions, please visit thehogarth.co.uk/carpark or ask for a copy from reception. If you have guests meeting you they will pay the non-member rate by taking a paper ticket and paying via credit card or cash at Club reception or via credit card ONLY at the exit barrier.

TARIFFS

MEMBERS: First 3hrs FREE then £2.40/hr – the rate on the High Road

NON MEMBERS: £3 per hour

How do I pay?

Members can pre-load credit on their proximity card at Club reception in either cash or credit card so that they receive the member rate / 3 hours free.

Please note that If a member's card is on zero credit the ANPR system will allow you into the car park, but if you go over 3 hours it will not let you out.

What about guests / non-members?

If you have guests meeting you that wish to park, they will pay the non-member rate by taking a paper ticket and paying via credit card or cash at Club reception or via credit card ONLY at the exit barrier.

What if I am a non-member receiving a treatment in The Hogarth MediSpa or Clinic or I am visiting the Airedale Café and wish to park?

All non members will pay the non-member rate.

Can I leave my car in the car park and go off site to get the tube into London / go to post office shops etc?

NO. Anybody using the car park but not using the Hogarth Club facilities will be blacklisted from using the Hogarth Club carpark as well as paying the car park charge / a £100 fine  - whichever is the greater. The carpark is for those using the Club facilities ONLY.
