Summer Ditch & Switch Party
at The Park Club
As a Hogarth member you and your friends are cordially invited to The Park Club's Summer Ditch & Switch Party. Itâs the new green way to shop, and combines clothes swapping with Champagne Reception, canapés and cool live music!
Time to clear out those wardrobes, dig out those maxi dresses and sandals, and join us for an exciting evening of summer switching!
For all the new switchers, Ditch & Switch is for quality, pre-loved, womenâs wear from designers or top end high street.
Garments must be washed, ironed and in a âSaleableâ condition. NO garments with holes, rips, tears, discolouration, pilling, stains, missing buttons, broken zips etc.
⢠5 to 10 items to be pre submitted to Hogarth Reception on either Wednesday 6 or 13th June ready for the party on Thursday 21 June.
⢠Items can be clothing, shoes or handbags.
⢠Registration is essential as numbers are limited.
⢠Cost is £20 and includes a Champagne Reception, Canapés & live music
How it works:
⢠Upon arrival, you will be given your personal switching card containing coloured dots. The number of entries on your card will depend on the number of items you submitted. All items in the switching area have colour coded tags, and can be exchanged on a like for like basis.
⢠The evening commences at 8pm with half an hour of window shopping. During this time no garments may be removed from the rails. At 8.30pm we all gather for a champagne toast, and then switching begins 8.40pm.
⢠Once you have selected all your items to switch, you proceed to the switching desk where your card will be marked, and your pieces bagged.
⢠Drop off of clothes, bags or shoes must be to Hogarth Reception on either Wednesday 6 or 13th June Ideally between 4 and 7pm) ready for the party on Thursday 21 June.
⢠Leftovers. Any unwanted items at the end of the night will be donated to charity. So you can be rest assured, your much loved dress, which has been hiding in your wardrobe for the past 4 years, will eventually find a new home.
⢠Ditch and Switch is about a fun night out, where youâll doubtless end up with a fabulous new item or three of clothing. At the same time, thanks to Porshe Cnetre West London, Big Champagne and various local Fashion Houses in Chiswick who have kindly donated some special pieces, we will also raise some money for The Wooden Spoon Society via a mini Charity Auction with a Special Guest Autioneer. Do bring your purses!
