Want to tick something off the bucket list this year whilst saving the lives of thousands of refugees?
If you think you are, The International Refugee Trust need you! They are looking for 100 heroes to walk courageously across hot coals in aid of refugees overseas.
The firewalk will take place on Saturday 26th February from 5pm and anybody between the ages of 16 to 100 can participate but spaces are limited so be sure to sign up today!
Register for this event
Registration is only £12 and includes:
• ‘I completed the Great Chiswick Firewalk 2022’ T-shirt
• Certificate on completion of fire walk
• Full 30 minute training course before the Firewalk
• As much or as little fundraising support as you need
• After party to celebrate your bravery at the Hogarth Club (food will be available to purchase at the bar)
All that is asked of you is that you do your very best to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship/fundraising to cover costs and raise much needed funds for the International Refugee Trust.
What will happen on the day?
On arrival to the event, you will be given a full 30 minute training course prior to the walk. The training will teach you how to walk across the coals safely, and also motivate and help you to build the confidence you need to complete the challenge. You will then bravely walk across 15 feet of hot smouldering coals reaching a temperature of 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, cheered on by hundreds of supporters.
UK Firewalk will be managing the Firewalk and have managed hundreds of Firewalks over the years, so you can (fire)walk safe in the knowledge that you will be in expert hands. A teams of first aiders will be there and several members of staff to ensure you, your friends and family are perfectly safe. Firewalk expert Scott Bell will also be at the event to guide you across the coals.
Where is the Firewalk?
We will be hosting the event and the after party. All of your colleagues, family and friends are welcome to come and watch you bravely walk across hot coals, and all are welcome to join the after party at the Hogarth Club. There will be a full bar available at the after party and families (with kids over the age of 16) are welcome to the event.
All participants will receive further details of the event after registration, but if you have any questions, please email info@irt.org.uk
