Louise Heanen

Louise has always been passionate about health & fitness. Growing up she was a keen gymnast and went on to study exercise science through the Premier fitness academy, which led her to securing a role as one of Hogarth's personal trainers back in 2001.

Louise first discovered the Pilates method when a friend recommended she try the technique as a holistic approach to an ongoing neck injury. Pain free, feeling relieved and amazed with the results experienced, she then decided to train as a Pilates teacher, qualifying with Body Control in 2006.

Throughout Louise's career she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, ranging from professional dancers, new mothers and those with sporting related goals. Her passion for teaching continues 10 year on, and she still regularly puts time aside in order to increase her understanding of movement and human anatomy by attending workshops, courses and classes as often as possible.

Louise has a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the benefits of Pilates with others, and believes that the method is a highly versatile technique that has wonderful benefits for everybody, whatever their physical abilities and objectives may be.
