For the cycling enthusiast and for those looking to improve cardiovascular fitness.

A low-impact, high-energy cardio workout.

The first thing many people notice in their first Group Cycle is the energy in the class. It’s electrifying. Whether it’s the driving playlist, the instructor giving 120% or the energy from your peers; Group Cycle has a real ‘team spirit’ feel to it.

Our ‘silent disco’ feature connects you to your instructor, getting their encouragement and our awesome playlist right into your headphones. You’re protected from the elements as you pedal by our all-weather canopy that enables outdoor Group Cycle come rain or shine.

Here at The Hogarth Health Club, Chiswick, our Group Cycle spinning classes are designed for everyone, whether you’re a beginner on a bicycle or a seasoned cyclist. Your instructor will guide you and encourage you through pace, movements and intensity changes, but when it comes down to it, YOU are the one in control. It’s a class that people of all ages and fitness levels can benefit from.

Spinning is a very low-impact form of exercise which means it’s a perfect class for anybody harbouring or recovering from a joint injury, more specifically knee or ankle. It is often recommended following surgery in order to maintain exercise with minimal stress through the injured joints. As cycle is a non-weight bearing sport, it is also perfect for those with problems linked to bone strength (e.g. osteoporosis). Is a fantastic alternative cardiovascular workout to more jarring activities such as running.
