A Barre class with yoga stretches. Barre was originally based on the Lotte Berk Method that combined elements of Dance,Yoga and Pilates.
It is a system that works with small precise muscle movements and squeezes. The movements are repeated frequently to challenge the muscles and sculpt the body.
Exercises are performed at the barre and on the floor. The majority of the class is performed using your own body weight but some sections use hand weights and straps. The body is stretched out after each section.
Barre classes are really effective in shaping the body and keeping the muscles long and lean.
The class is low impact and suitable for most people and levels.
