£25 ZOOM ACCESS ONLY  - ENDS 1 JUNE

Live streamed classes on Zoom will continue until 1 June 2021 for frozen members, but will only be available for full paying members thereafter. We started Hogarth Online live classes over Lockdown 1.0 and offered these free for all to support as many as we could. We then offered just a £25 fee (to support our instructors) for online only access to support those most vulnerable and nervous to come back as the Club. We’ve had tremendous feedback that our live classes have been a n invaluable way of keeping up fitness when unable to come to the club. We aren't able to maintain Zoom membership only as we make a loss in providing them.

Do contact our Membership Team if you would like to return to indoor (or outdoor!) classes by emailing membership@thehogarth.co.uk

EXTENSIVE CLEANING PROTOCOLS

• To thoroughly clean each studio between classes, we have made them a little shorter... but sweeter! To keep our members and instructors safe. At least 15 - 30 minutes has been allowed between each class for ample cleaning time and to reduce crowding.

• Our UV Light cleaning robot Helios continues to sanitise each area of the Club nightly to completely cleanse all surfaces. You usually find units like HELIOS in hospitals and medical facilities that require extreme deep cleaning and sanitisation. Watch him in action here!

• Foot pedal hand sanitiser pumps and cleaning products are dotted all around each studio as well as the Club for total peace of mind.

BRING YOUR OWN YOGA & PILATES EQUIPMENT

For hygiene reasons, Yoga mats and Pilates blocks will not be provided from 17th May. So please do bring your own to your Yoga or Pilates class if you wish to use one.

Only plastic-coated weights can be provided and used in certain Studio 1 and Studio 2 classes. These should be collected on entry and left on the floor area in front of the rack for our cleaners to sanitise and re-rack. This is the best protocol to stick to for total safety control.

Body Pump classes will continue to be pre-set up by our team and left for our cleaners to sanitise and put away.

SOME OUTDOOR CLASSES CONTINUE

To maximise capacity and safety, we have kept Group Cycle under the outdoor tent for now. Some of our HiiT and Body Conditioning classes also remain outdoors for safety and capacity reasons. In the event of poor weather, outdoor classes on the tennis courts will move indoors to one of the Studios. However, numbers will be limited for safety, so those who have pre-booked hold priority to attend. Please do continue to book your Class at the Club in advance!

We’re delighted to have Alison back at the Club and on our timetable for her ever-popular Stretchworks and Danceworks classes. We are also super excited to have our Holistic teachers finally back teaching at the Club!

WAITING AREAS FOR INDOOR CLASSES

Please may we remind you of the waiting areas for Studios 1, 2 and 3. Please wear a mask and refer to the markers on the floor for effective social distancing.

UPDATE TO OTHER AREAS

Squash

After careful consideration and the installatiom of improved ventilation, we have made the decision to reopen Squash play from June 2021 subject to Covid R values and government guidance. We will begin with modified squash with full court squash in due course. Further information will follow.

Sauna & Steam

Although legally we are permitted to provide these from 17 May, our own risk assessments still considers these too high risk to reintroduce at this time. This will be reviewed for 21 June.

Safety in ALL Areas

We will continue with our Covid Secure Protocols of sanitising hands, wearing masks in common areas unless exercising, eating or drinking, social distancing, cleaning down areas you’ve touched, the use of our UV Robot to keep each other safe.

SO WE REALLY DO LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING MORE OF YOU ENJOYING EVERYTHING HOGARTH HAS TO OFFER – THE BEST OF WHICH IS YOU!

MAY REOPENING FAQS

No problem! Just send an email to membership@thehogarth.co.uk to let them know that you would like to un-freeze from now to be able to book your class, changing room, swimming pool or spa pool slot from when bookings reopen on the 9th May for when you come in from 17th May. They will start your Club membership from then.

Great! Just send an email to membership@thehogarth.co.uk to re-start your membership from now. You can then instantly book and use the facilities. We very much look forward to welcoming you back.

Although Government guidelines state that Steam rooms and Saunas can reopen from the 17th May, we will continue to keep them temporarily closed until there is more scientific evidence to support that they are safe to reopen and we are able to operate COVID safe with these facilities. We are continuously thinking of ways to safely reopen the saunas and will keep you updated in due course.

Due to the lack of ventilation in our squash court and the very limited safety guidelines, we will continue to keep our Squash court temporarily closed. We are hoping to open up our Squash court for single Drills only soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding in keeping each other safe.

Bookings for the following areas of the Club are essential; indoor and outdoor classes, swimming pool, spa pool, tennis, changing rooms and pods at The Airedale. Go to https://bit.ly/hogarthmemberlogin to book online or call us on 020 8995 4600. Online bookings open 8 days in advance.

If you haven’t registered your online account with us yet, go to https://online.thehogarth.co.uk/pub/RegisterOnline.aspx You will need your postcode and email address that you signed up to us with.

OUTDOOR CLASSES

High intensity classes such as HIIT, Group Cycle and Body Conditioning have all been relocated outdoors on our tennis courts or brand new covered exercise area to reduce the aerosol effect. 10 minutes between court bookings has been allowed for safe entering and exiting the court.

SMALLER NUMBERS

To allow for safe social distancing, our studios have been marked with floor signage to provide more than four square metres per participant.

MORE TIME FOR CLEANING

Our superstar cleaning team can complete a thorough cleaning and sanitising of all surfaces in under 6 minutes, supported by Helios (our UV sanitising robot) where necessary, for total safety.
