The Park Club and Club Des Sports

As some of you may have heard, on Thursday 1 June 2017, our sister Club, The Park Club, exchanged contracts with David Lloyd and the subsequent closure of the main Park Club building and pool will now take place on 16 July 2017 for a major refurbishment until April 2018.

The Hogarth Group has retained a substantial area of the original Park Club site where a fantastic new sporting centre of excellence called “Club Des Sports” now operates. This will stay open throughout the refurbishment of the main Club and boasts a myriad of the highest quality sporting facilities across 21 acres of the original 27 acres including a 3G football and rugby pitch, 5 ECB Regulation Cricket Nets, 5 tennis / netball courts, a fantastic new dance school and dojo soon to be completed. These facilities are open to all residents of West London and do not require membership.

The imminent closure of the Park Club has resulted in some Park Club members transferring to The Hogarth across our various membership categories. To manage these and the overall level of membership here, we have re-introduced significant joining fees for new members and have some additional classes being added to the existing timetable starting mid July and then September.

We have been planning new car parking arrangements from August 2017 – as it’s not viable to be the only free car park in Chiswick - and we know it’s time to control this more tightly. More on this soon.

With very best wishes
