NEW CLASSES FOR 2026

 

SOUND BATH WITH RAIMONDA
Tuesdays 8pm - 9pm in Studio 2

New to the Hogarth Studio timetable, Sound Bath is a therapeutic and meditative practice where participants relax and listen to the resonant sounds produced by various instruments. The practice is believed to help reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia by slowing the heart rate and calming the nervous system.

HIIT CIRCUITS WITH ANGELIKI
Wednesdays 6:15am - 7am in Studio 1

Participants can vary the intensity to suit their fitness level and needs for this general level class. Circuit training incorporates several stations into several bursts of high intensity exercise, allowing you to target all minor and major muscle groups in a short period of time. Circuit training reaps many health benefits including the development of strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination. It is one of the few methods of fitness training that is able to effectively improve both strength and cardiovascular fitness in the same exercise session.

STRETCHWORKS WITH ALISON
Wednesdays 1:40pm - 2:40pm in Studio 1

Stretchworks introduces sequences of controlled stretching and strengthening exercises specifically devised to flow one into the other to enable you to achieve the long-term benefits of being supple and strong, aligned and balanced. It doesn’t impose rigid exercise disciplines but adapts to your needs and ability so each exercise can be taken at your own pace, and in your own way.

CALISTHENICS BASICS WITH JILL
Thursdays 8pm - 9pm in Studio 3

Are you interested in Calisthenics, but not sure where to being? This could be the class for you. Jill has recently joined the Hogarth Team after 30 years as a member and has a particular interest in working with beginners and returners. This class is designed to introduce you to the basics of Calisthenics and give you the confidence to master the fundamental movements.

 

 

UPDATED CLASSES FOR 2026

 

AQUA DANCE WITH FARZIN
Tuesday 10:15am - 11am in the Pool

Aqua Dance is designed for all fitness levels. It is a high energy, low impact pool workout combining choreographed dance routines with some of the traditional elements of Aqua fitness. Have fun whilst burning calories and treating your body to a low impact water resistance workout. It is an fun and effective workout without putting strain on your joints.

SOMATIC SLOW FLOW YOGA WITH MICHAELA
Wednesday 2pm - 3:15pm in Studio 2

A slow, nourishing yoga class that begins with extended breathwork. The practice includes gentle somatic movements on the floor and a few stabilising postures, supported by bolsters, straps, belts, and towels. Soft, repetitive movements encourage the gradual opening of the body’s fascial layers, allowing time for deep assimilation and integration on all levels. This class is suitable for all abilities.

PILATES FUNDAMENTALS WITH ANGELIKI AND PILAR
Wednesdays 8pm - 9pm in Studio 2 with Angeliki
Sundays 9am - 10am in Studio 2 with Pilar

This class focuses on the essential building blocks of Pilates, offering a clear and supportive space to learn foundational exercises that build strength, flexibility, and coordination, with an emphasis on quality over complexity. Classes prioritise alignment, breath, body awareness, and familiarity with Pilates terminology. Designed for those new to Pilates, returning after time away, or wanting to reinforce the basics, this class supports a strong, sustainable practice while improving posture, core stability, coordination, control and awareness in movement.

PILATES SCULPT WITH FARZIN
Thursdays 8:15am - 9:15am in Studio 2

Pilates Sculpt is a full body workout blending traditional Pilates core strengthening principles with resistance training to tone muscles and boost endurance as well as lengthening and improving posture. This class targets arms, legs, and glutes, using weights, bands, ball, and fitness circles.

 

 

NEW INSTRUCTOR

JILL CHARLES
Calistehnics Basics - Thursdays 8pm - 9pm in Studio 3

Jill is a Cross Training and Calisthenics coach, with a particular interest in working with beginners and returners. After many years of practice in Pilates, Aerobics, and Zumba, Jill found her levels of strength and fitness increased exponentially during lockdown doing online cross training workouts when studio classes weren’t an option. When friends started asking for help with getting stronger, she decided to get qualified. Having completed her level two Fitness Instructor and Level three Personal Trainer certificates in 2025 and honing her skills in several Cross Training Boxes – most notably two summers in Brazil, Jill has recently joined the Hogarth Team (after 30 years as a member!).
