Farzin Ashtarieh


I decided to change career in my late 40's and go for a job I knew I would love. I moved to Canada for 6 months in 2010 and trained with Stott Pilates followed by Zumba training. I have been teaching since 2011 and have loved every second of it. I am so passionate about everything I teach and constantly learning and bringing more to my classes every week. I am constantly attending classes at The Park Club as well as external courses which add to my knowledge and therefore improving my teaching style & technique every single day.

Qualifications: Gym level 2, Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Step, Aqua aerobics, Barre Concept, Stott Pilates.

My classes at The Hogarth

Pilates: I teach mostly general level and I make sure members get an all round workout with toning, balancing and stretching moves. I tend to incorporate some Barre moves into my Pilates class as well. I am told my classes are fun as well as working hard.

Aqua aerobics: I am told I play lovely music. My aqua class starts with 15 minutes cardio warm up. 25 minutes of toning exercises using weight and noodles followed by 5 minutes stretch. We have fun in the class.
