Aqua aerobics is performing aerobic exercises in the water. The resistance of water provides extra challenge to the moves but at same time keeps the exercises low impact.
My Aqua classes start with 15-20 minutes cardio warm up followed by 25 minutes of cardio and toning exercises using hand weights and noodles, ending with 5 minutes stretch.
Aqua aerobics suits nearly everyone whether an exercise novice or super fit, non-swimmer or channel swimmer. I am told I play great music and the class is enjoyable.
