Ajay Sherchan

Ajay Sherchan Physiotherapist

Ajay is an experienced HCPC and CSP-registered Physiotherapist specialising in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal presentations, including acute and chronic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and pain management.

He has worked across leading NHS organisations, including Imperial College Healthcare, gaining experience within musculoskeletal, trauma and orthopaedic, rheumatology and pain management services.

Ajay has also gained specialist experience in Hand Therapy at St Mary's Hospital, one of London's major trauma centres, treating a wide range of complex hand and upper limb conditions, and is trained in the assessment, fabrication, and fitting of bespoke splints. During his time at Great Ormond Street Hospital, he also developed a particular interest in paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working with children and young people with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including hypermobility, complex pain, idiopathic conditions, and orthopaedic presentations.

Ajay has a strong background in sports rehabilitation, having previously led the ACL return-to-sport programme at Imperial College and contributed to the development of post-operative rehabilitation pathways within hospital settings. He has also been actively involved in developing clinical guidelines for a range of upper and lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, supporting evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.

His treatment approach combines manual therapy, evidence-based rehabilitation, personalised exercise programmes, taping, splinting, shockwave therapy, and patient education. Taking a holistic and empathetic approach, Ajay recognises that no two individuals are the same and tailors treatment to each person's goals, needs, and lifestyle. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care and help individuals optimise recovery, performance, and long-term wellbeing.

Outside of the clinic, Ajay enjoys football, training in the gym, and spending time with his family. He is passionate about volunteering and has previously led an earthquake relief project in Nepal as part of a medical team, providing treatment to those affected by traumatic injuries.

Arilda Sinanaj

Ajay Sherchan Physiotherapist

An experienced HCPC & CSP registered physiotherapist, Arilda has worked in private clinical settings across London and Athens, spanning over 10 years of experience in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, alongside a specialist interest in women's health.

Graduating with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of West Attica in 2017, she went on to complete postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Her clinical approach is supported by advanced training in recognised manual therapy techniques, including McKenzie, Mulligan, Maitland, and Kaltenborn, enabling her to effectively assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Arilda further expanded her expertise by completing a Master's degree in Sports Rehabilitation, allowing her to adopt a holistic, patient-centred approach. She focuses not only on pain relief but on restoring full function- helping patients safely return to their sport, work, or daily activities through tailored rehabilitation programmes and injury prevention strategies.

She has a particular passion for women's health physiotherapy, recognising that many women experience symptoms that significantly impact their quality of life but are often underreported or under treated. Arilda provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a range o1f conditions across the lifespan, including antenatal and postnatal care, as well as peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms. Her work includes the management of pelvic floor dysfunction, rectus diastasis, urinary and bowel incontinence, overactive bladder, and sexual dysfunction. She also incorporates elements of the Mummy MOT assessment to support women in returning safely to exercise and daily function.

In addition, Arilda is a qualified Pilates instructor and integrates Pilates-based rehabilitation into her practice, particularly for spinal conditions such as neck and lower back pain. She also offers acupuncture as part of a multimodal, evidence-based treatment approach.

Outside of the clinic, Arilda is passionate about fitness and is a regular gym-goer and weightlifter. Her personal experience with training and injury recovery allows her to relate closely to her patients and understand the physical and psychological challenges of returning to activity. She is committed to helping individuals not only recover from injury, but come back stronger, more confident, and resilient.
